A Swedish heathen to.....a person...
Fantastic how i , as a child, i followed what i consider ancestors to the grave of their son, i was closer to heathenry than many a rite in a paperback book (this was in the 70´s). If your soul is heathen, so are you, call it what you will. The Gods care nought about your cloak or leather vest. If your (inner) voice is heard, and you hear, you are heathen.

About the "Pagans" video´s
Though i think they are mainly superb there is still a matter of source criticism and the fact that a lot of what we “know” is merely educated guesses at best. Some notes: *The term “Pagan” here seems to be put mainly on north European warrior type cultures (Celts, Germanics,Slavs, Finns) while in fact the term is generally applied to pre Christian / Islamic / Judaic...

Tornedalians
The Tornedalians are descendants of Finns who in some point in history settled to the areas of today’s Northern Sweden near the Torne Valley district and west from there. Tornedalians migrated from today’s Southwestern Finland, mainly from Häme and Karelia. Settlement began around the northern end of the Gulf of Bothnia and along the river valleys nearby (River Kalix, Torne River,...

Swedish-speaking Finns
Swedish-speaking Finns (often called Finland-Swedes, Finnish Swedes, Swedish Finns, see below) (Swedish: finlandssvenskar;Finnish: suomenruotsalaiset) constitute a linguistic minority in Finland. They maintain a strong identity and are alternatively seen either as a distinct subgroup of the Finnish people or as a separate ethnic group or even as a distinct nationality. They speak...

Forest Finns
Forest Finns (Norwegian: Skogfinner, Swedish: Skogsfinnar, Finnish: Metsäsuomalaiset) are people of Finnish descent in the forest areas of Eastern Norway and Central Sweden. The Forest Finns emigrated from Savonia in Eastern Finland during the late 16th and early to mid 17th centuries, and traditionally pursued slash-and-burn agriculture. Painting by Eero Järnefelt showing forest burning. The use...

Birkarl
Birkarls (birkarlar in Swedish, unhistorical pirkkamiehet or pirkkalaiset in Finnish; bircharlaboa, bergcharl etc. in historical sources) were a small, unofficially organized Finnish group that controlled taxing and commerce in central Lappmarken in Sweden during the 13th to 17th centuries. The most probable assumption is that Birkarls were originally Finnish traders mainly from...
