In the ancient custom are a variety of seasonal celebrations. Society Forn Sed Sweden attention to several of these. Many celebrated at the local level by individual blotlag. A blot per year, vårblotet (spring blot) at Uppsala Mounds, is open to all members and non members. What annual celebrations are celebrated varies with blotlag and individuals. Here are some of the festivals that are celebrated within the community. The list is not intended as an exhaustive list. What festivals are celebrated also varies between blotlag.

[Personally i celebrate Midwinter,Disa,Alva and Midsummer blots. Naturally i blot as i need to or feel like too].

Yule blot or midvinterblot celebrated the winter solstice and the feast is that the sun reached its lowest point and that the days are now brighter.Disa blot is celebrated usually in February and formally acknowlege the Disir and that the light is coming back.Vernal Equinox Blot or Spring blot celebrated at the vernal equinox and the festival celebrates that the wheel of the year has now reached the halfway point between midwinter and midsummer, and the summer begins.May blot or Early Summer Sacrifice is celebrated in late April / early May to celebrate the summer begins.Midsummer Blot celebrated the summer solstice and the feast is that the sun reached its highest point.Late Summer blot or Harvest Blot  is celebrated usually in August and celebrates the harvest and the summer draws to a close.Autumnal Equinox’s Sacrifice is celebrated at the autumnal equinox and solemnly acknowledges that the sun reached the halfway point between midsummer and midwinter, and the winter season begins.Alva Sacrifice is celebrated usually in late October / November and commemorates the elves and the dead.
